The operation of forklift trucks is a critical aspect of many warehousing and logistics environments, and ensuring that operators are properly trained is not just beneficial, it’s essential. Effective forklift training helps minimise the risk of costly accidents, improves operational efficiency, and ensures compliance with regulations such as Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998. For businesses, properly certified operators translate into safer workplaces, fewer insurance claims, reduced downtime and a smoother flow of goods.
