Very Narrow Aisle (VNA)

On-site Forklift Training

VNA Truck Training – Delivered on Your Premises.

Novice and Refresher Training for Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Forklifts
A VNA forklift, designed for narrow aisles and tight spaces common in high-density warehouses, features a specialised mast enabling higher reach and maneuverability.

Utilised for tasks like product storage, retrieval, intra-warehouse transport, and pallet loading/unloading, VNA forklifts optimise warehouse storage by accommodating more racks in limited space.

As an RTITB-accredited provider, we offer comprehensive VNA forklift training covering safety, pre-use checks, maneuvering, and load handling. Our training ensures operators, both novice and experienced, are proficient and confident in safe and efficient VNA forklift operation, meeting RTITB standards.

Our RTITB accreditation underscores our dedication to delivering top-tier training aligned with industry benchmarks. Upon course completion, receive a recognised RTITB certificate, valued by employers across the UK.

All VNA training is conducted at our training centre and customer premises.

What are VNA Forklift Trucks Used For?

Very narrow aisle trucks are used for stacking loads, stock replenishment and medium to high level order picking. As the name suggests, the truck operates in very narrow high aisles.

The VNA’ truck at RS Forklifts training has unique feature is its steering method. VNA trucks are normally only steered by the operator when transferring from one aisle to another. Once in the aisle the trucks are automatically guided by wire, rail or radio guidance.

Man down is the name given to equipment where the operator remains at ground level. Man up is where the operator in the cab goes up in the air with the forks and load, thus making it quicker and easier to deposit or retrieve load or stock raised up to the picking level.
